Sounds like Your glasses are a serious problem, Mine was never that bad but it was annoying.
The windshield was a waste of money I tried it about 25 miles, took it off and see no use for it.
I weat progressive lenses. My Employer requires side shield safety glasses. That does the trick for Me. The shields are made for the frames, clip on and can be removed.
Might be worth Your effort to try.
